What is Team Trucking and Team Trucking Pay?
Team Trucking jobs provide a method of freight transportation where two drivers work together in a single truck to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times. This approach allows one driver to rest while the other remains on the road, effectively doubling the amount of time the truck can be in motion. Team trucking is particularly beneficial for long-haul routes, as it enables quicker deliveries and can help meet tight deadlines.
Since Team Truck Drivers take shifts in the same truck Team Trucking Pay is equally split between the two drivers. For example, if the team pay is $0.75 / mile to the truck which means each team driver makes $0.375 / mile for all of the miles that are paid, instead of paying each team driver $0.75 / mile for ONLY the miles they drive individually.

Dedicated Team Trucking Jobs for FedEx Custom Critical
Miles 2 Go Transport is looking for Dedicated Team Company Drivers to drive our trucks under our dedicated contract for FedEx Custom Critical. FedEx Custom Critical is one of North America’s largest expedited carriers; this means that they provide premium 24/7 pickup and delivery services to 48 states in the U.S. and Canada. This premium service provides same-day or next-days delivery options to FedEx Custom Critical customers using a reefer truck or refrigerated truck trailer.
Dedicated High Paying Team Trucking Job Requirements
- Existing Teams Only – We do not match you up with a team mate
- 6 months of commercial tractor driving experience in the last 2 years or 1 year collectively in the last 5 years
- Willing and able to travel to all 48 states (Canada and 5 Burroughs of NYC are optional)
- Have a current DOT medical card (with expiration prior to 90 days)
- Pass a DOT drug screening
- Have a clean driving record with NO citation or conviction of more than 2 moving violations during a 36 month period and/or 1 moving violation during the previous 12 months
